CENTRAL LAKE – Central Lake kicked off its 2022 campaign Friday with a 40-34 win over Brethren. The Trojans (1-0) travel to Gaylord St. Mary Wednesday while the Bobcats (0-1) are off until Sept. 9 when they travel to Suttons Bay.

BRETHREN — Brethren senior Halle Richardson signed with Lansing Community College to continue competing in softball in college. Richardson is a four-sport athlete at Brethren, but decided to focus on softball in college. She joins a Stars’ team that went 32-11 overall and 24-8 in conference play in the 2021 season.
