ST. IGNACE – The St. Ignace boys and girls basketball teams each came away with big wins over Rogers City on Tuesday night to remain unbeaten on the season.
The girls beat Rogers City 54-27 and the boys topped the Hurons 85-33.
The St. Ignace girls basketball team is now 5-0 this season and the boys team is 4-0.
The girls team will make the trip down to Detroit for its next game in the Motor City Roundball Classic at Redford Westfield Prep on Dec. 28 and 29 against Saginaw and Ann Arbor Huron.
The boys team will also compete in the Motor City Roundball Classic, playing on Dec. 29th at Ferndale High School against Center Line.
Rogers City’s teams will have a longer layoff as the boys basketball team returns to action vs. St. Charlton Heston Academy on Jan. 5 at 7 p.m. and the girls will play Charlton Heston the next night.
