David Lyden
David Lyden is an Emmy-Award-winning reporter and anchor who joined Northern Michigan's News Leader as an intern in May of 2014. He stayed on as an intern until May of 2015 when he joined the station full time following his graduation from Central Michigan University with a degree in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts.
He now anchors 9&10 News Noon and 5.
David was born and raised in northern Michigan in the small town of Fairview in Oscoda County.
He graduated from Fairview High School in May of 2011.
While attending CMU, David anchored for the schools award winning news station, News Central 34. He also called CMU Women's basketball, CMU Baseball and CMU Softball on the student radio station Moore Rock Radio 91.5.
