This past weekend, Frankfort played host to the Ironman 70.3 Michigan race. And the only team in the race was a father-son duo from Grand Rapids.

Jeff and Johnny Agar joined the nearly 1,500 competitors who swam 1.2 miles, rode a 56-mile bike course, and ran for 13.1 miles. Johnny was born with Cerebral Palsy, and Jeff hauls him on a bike, tows him when he swims, and pushes Johnny when he runs.

Team Agar is also preparing for the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii, in the fall of 2024. The father and son share their inspirational story with 9&10′s Bill Froehlich.
